1891. New Century Club of Philadelphia. 124 S. 12th Street, Philadelphia, PA (demolished)

“Minerva Parker architect, [has] completed plans for the New Century Club building...They contemplate a four-story structure, of Indiana limestone and Pompeiian brick, Spanish tile roof, with galvanized iron cornice and bays." (1891) This project was one of Minerva's most significant commissions, linking her with a powerful network of female clients, several of whom hired her for other projects. Emily Sartain, the club's president, also hired Minerva to teach at the School of Design for Women.
